The Vision

As the Lead Interior Designer for Lemfun, I approach every 720sqm raw warehouse footprint strictly as an architectural canvas demanding rigorous spatial planning and structural ingenuity. When tasked with transforming the empty shell located at 8820 Foothill Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, United States, 91342, into Jump Club Arena, the vision was absolute: engineer the premier Space Themed Commercial Indoor Trampoline Park in USA. This was not an exercise in basic pediatric recreation; the demographic target was explicitly high-energy teenagers and adults. Therefore, the architectural rendering, facility flow, and equipment specifications had to reflect a high-octane, zero-gravity environment capable of sustaining adult load capacities. The industrial envelope of the 8820 Foothill Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, United States, 91342 site provided the essential vertical clearance required for extreme aerial maneuvers, but it also presented stark lighting and acoustic challenges. Our goal was to conceptualize a cohesive Space-themed trampoline wonderland that entirely masked the sterile building architecture. Every design decision—from the initial CAD schematics to the final material specification—was engineered to maximize user throughput while maintaining an uncompromising, immersive Space aesthetic.

The Logic

Solving the complex site challenge required an aggressive approach to spatial planning to integrate a massive free trampoline area, a competitive dodge ball area, an angled slope trampoline, a high-velocity zipline game set, and a deep trampoline foam pit within the rigid 720sqm constraint. Because standard off-the-shelf components would result in inefficient dead zones, we engineered custom commercial indoor trampoline park equipment to navigate the existing structural columns and optimize the entire floor plan. The main free trampoline area serves as the central hub, acting as the primary circulation route that establishes a logical user flow. From here, patrons are naturally funneled into specialized, higher-intensity modules. The dodge ball area is structurally isolated with high-tension perimeter netting and engineered with heavy-duty angled rebound walls, allowing for intense, multi-directional gameplay without disrupting adjacent zones. To maximize vertical spatial utilization, we anchored the zipline game set along the primary ceiling trusses, allowing riders to soar over the lower-impact zones before safely dismounting near the centralized trampoline foam pit. This specific foam pit is engineered explicitly for the mass and velocity of teenagers and adults, featuring expanded depth parameters and dual-density impact absorption blocks. It sits directly adjacent to the slope trampoline—a marvel of custom fabrication pitched at a precise 45-degree angle to allow users to execute advanced parkour-style wall runs and flips, fully realizing the zero-gravity mechanics demanded by our layout.

The Details

The final layer of execution relied on strict adherence to the Space theme through specialized aesthetics and technical material selection. To visually transport users at the 8820 Foothill Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, United States, 91342 location out of a standard industrial warehouse, the color palette is dominated by deep cosmic blacks, interstellar purples, and striking neon blue accents. This specific palette was chosen to absorb ambient warehouse lighting and brilliantly reflect our strategic UV-reactive elements. Every exposed piece of structural steel is wrapped in commercial-grade, fire-retardant PVC padding in stark white and metallic silver to mimic the interior aesthetics of a modernized space station. The high-tension jump mats themselves were custom-fabricated to feature subtle, integrated nebula patterns, ensuring the Space motif remains visually dominant even underfoot. We utilized advanced 3D rendering to simulate the lighting flow across the entire facility, ensuring that the heavy-duty springs and clamping mechanisms are completely obscured by sleek, futuristic vinyl cladding. Furthermore, the zipline game set features LED-illuminated launch and landing platforms, while the dodge ball area utilizes synchronized under-mat lighting to create a pulsing, energetic combat zone. By meticulously sourcing and customizing every structural component, we ensured that the aesthetics actively enhance the operational safety and longevity of the park, proving that high-end commercial design seamlessly merges atmospheric immersion with extreme athletic performance.
