The vision for Cocomelon Play Centre @ The Curve began with a completely empty commercial unit located at Lot G107, Ground Floor, Jln PJU 7/3, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Covering a total area of 560sqm, this space offered strong visibility but required a clear identity to stand out in a competitive market. Lemfun’s design goal was to transform the site into a vibrant Candy-themed indoor amusement park in Malaysia, tailored specifically for children aged 6–12. From the earliest rendering stage, the focus was on creating a playful yet structured environment that balances visual excitement with functional flow.
The logic behind the layout was driven by the client’s core challenge: the surrounding area already hosts multiple indoor playgrounds, most of which cater to older children aged 12–15. To differentiate this project, Lemfun applied advanced spatial planning to create a more engaging, skill-based, and competitive play environment for younger children. The zoning strategy separates high-energy attractions from exploration-based play, ensuring smooth circulation and safety. Custom-designed attractions were integrated into the main flow, allowing children to experience “never-before-seen” play elements while maintaining clear sightlines for parents. This approach supports a prosperous Indoor playground plan by maximizing play value within a controlled footprint.
In terms of details, the Candy theme plays a central role in shaping the overall aesthetics. A carefully selected color palette of pastel pinks, candy blues, creamy yellows, and soft purples was used to evoke sweetness without overwhelming the space. Rounded forms, soft edges, and layered structures reinforce the playful identity while aligning with safety standards. Decorative elements and equipment colors were matched precisely during the rendering and production phases to ensure visual consistency from concept to reality. Throughout the project, the Location in Mutiara Damansara, Malaysia influenced design decisions, ensuring the playground feels locally relevant while meeting international indoor amusement standards.
Through thoughtful layout logic, immersive theming, and precise execution, Cocomelon Play Centre @ The Curve stands as a fresh benchmark for a Candy-themed indoor playground in Malaysia.
